Get to Know Holly Kamm

I was born and raised in Livonia, Michigan by my parents who taught me the value of hard work and living a well-rounded life.  At a young age I discovered I loved to learn, to complete puzzles, explore the world, resolve problems, and help my friends and family achieve their goals.  All of these passions serve me well in my role as Verde’s Chief Operations Officer and Compliance Manager, and Carl’s Executive Assistant.

I attended Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio, for my undergraduate degree, and in 2005 I earned a dual major in International Studies and Political Science with a minor in Spanish.  I worked hard and graduated with my law degree two and a half years later from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law (Cleveland State University).   I am currently licensed to practice law in both Michigan and Ohio.

I lived in Ohio for several years and enjoyed my time serving on various community boards and practicing law.  I eventually moved back home to Michigan and decided to expand my horizons by shifting my career path to the financial services industry.  I worked at Lincoln Financial Advisors for almost three years, and was blessed with a great mentor and company that encouraged me to learn and develop new skills.

In July 2018, I came to Verde Capital Management excited and eager to assist in managing the behind-the-scenes operations of Verde Capital, Verde Real Estate, Narrin Farms, Millpond Inn, and the Verde Family of Companies.  I am passionate about using my problem solving skills and creativity to help my team serve our clients in the absolute best way possible.  I truly enjoy every day at Verde as I am constantly learning about the financial industry, challenging myself to tackle responsibilities and reach goals, all while working with a unique and gifted team.

When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling with my boyfriend, cooking for friends and family, practicing yoga or krav maga, enjoying local museums, or relaxing on one of the nearby lakes with friends.  I have two adorable dogs, Ellie and Nessie, who make me laugh with their antics when we aren’t cuddling on the couch.
