Get to Know Ken Sheperd

I grew up in Ohio with my nine brothers and sisters where my parents instilled in me a tremendous work ethic and the value of education. I majored in Business, with a concentration in Management Information Systems at the University of Notre Dame.

After graduation, I joined Ross Perot’s EDS Corp and moved to Michigan. I supported General Motors throughout my entire career, during which time EDS was absorbed by Hewlett-Packard. My experiences were in a variety of areas: systems engineering, account management, project management, client care, people management and consulting.

After 28 successful working years, I decided to do something completely different. In August 2012 I went to work as a Service Advisor at Verde Capital Management. I am fully committed to Verde’s principal mission: to turn money into life fulfillment.

I am married to the former Angela Lorenz and we have two grown sons. We became grandparents in 2022. We live in Brandon Township, Michigan; a wonderful community that we’ve been lucky to call home since 1989.
