Accessibility

Verde Capital Management is committed to providing a website experience that is useful and accessible to as many people as reasonably possible, including people with disabilities.

Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. Websites, technologies, content, and accessibility practices continue to evolve, and Verde intends to review and improve the digital experience over time.

Our Approach

We seek to consider accessibility when designing, developing, maintaining, and updating the website. This may include attention to:

  • Clear page structure and heading organization
  • Readable text and sufficient visual contrast
  • Keyboard navigation
  • Descriptive links and buttons
  • Alternative text for meaningful images
  • Labels and instructions for website forms
  • Captions or transcripts for relevant audio and video content
  • Compatibility with commonly used browsers and assistive technologies
  • Content that can be enlarged or viewed across different screen sizes
  • Identification and correction of accessibility barriers when they are discovered

Verde may use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium as a reference when evaluating and improving website accessibility. These guidelines provide recommendations for making digital content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.

Reference to an accessibility standard does not mean that every page, document, feature, or third-party service has been independently tested or certified as conforming to a particular level. Accessibility can also vary depending on the technology, browser, device, settings, and assistive tools being used.

Requesting Assistance

If you have difficulty accessing information, completing a website action, or using a particular feature, please submit a request through Verde’s Contact page.

When possible, describe:

  • The page or feature you were attempting to use
  • The information or action you were trying to access
  • The type of difficulty you experienced
  • The browser, device, or assistive technology involved
  • An alternative format or method that may be helpful

Please do not include account credentials, Social Security numbers, account numbers, tax documents, or other sensitive financial or identification information in a general website inquiry.

Verde will review accessibility requests and seek a reasonable way to provide the requested information or assistance. The available response may depend on the content, technology, request, and circumstances involved.

Alternative Formats and Communication

When website content is not readily accessible, Verde may be able to provide information through another reasonable format or communication method. The appropriate option will depend on the material requested and the needs identified through the inquiry.

Requesting an alternative format does not create an advisory relationship or replace the agreements, disclosures, security procedures, or communication methods required for financial services.

Documents and Downloadable Materials

The website may include articles, reports, white papers, forms, presentations, or other downloadable documents. Some older materials or documents supplied by third parties may not be fully optimized for every assistive technology.

If you encounter difficulty accessing a document, use the Contact page to identify the material and request assistance. Verde may provide an alternative version, explain the information through another format, or help identify another reasonable way to access the content.

Videos and Other Media

Verde may publish videos, recordings, graphics, charts, presentations, or other media. We seek to improve the accessibility of meaningful media through measures such as captions, transcripts, descriptive text, or supporting written content when appropriate and reasonably available.

Some archived, embedded, live, or third-party media may have accessibility limitations. Visitors who need assistance accessing information contained in media may submit a request through the Contact page.

Third-Party Websites and Services

The website may link to or embed content from custodians, account platforms, social networks, video providers, recruiting systems, document hosts, analytics tools, maps, or other third-party services.

Verde does not control the design, code, accessibility, policies, or continued availability of third-party websites and services. A visitor who encounters an accessibility barrier on an external platform may need to contact that provider directly. Verde may still be able to help identify an alternative route to information that is also available through its own website or materials.

Compatibility and Technology

Website accessibility may be affected by the browser, operating system, device, screen size, security settings, extensions, or assistive technology being used. Keeping software and assistive tools updated may improve compatibility with modern website features.

Verde does not guarantee that every combination of technology will provide an identical experience. We welcome information about barriers that may help us evaluate and improve the website.

Ongoing Improvement

Accessibility work may include reviewing new pages and features, correcting identified barriers, improving older content, working with website vendors, and considering accessibility as technology or recognized practices change.

Some improvements may require technical investigation, design changes, updated content, or coordination with an outside provider. Verde may prioritize issues based on their effect on access, the importance of the affected content or service, and the practical steps available to address them.

Accessibility Feedback

Questions, requests for assistance, and reports of website accessibility barriers may be submitted through Verde’s Contact page. Please identify the affected page or feature and provide enough information for the team to understand the issue.

Feedback is valuable because it can identify barriers that may not appear during ordinary review. Verde will consider accessibility feedback as part of its ongoing efforts to make the website experience clearer and more usable.
