I originally found my way to finance through an elective course at Michigan State University; the course initially piqued my interest and then evolved into a passion. I graduated from Michigan State in 2005 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I immediately pursued a career in the financial industry based on that course because I loved the idea of applying my psychology background to help people achieve their personal financial goals.
I began my professional career at Ameriprise Financial in Troy, Michigan, which had a very robust training program. I was a financial advisor there for just two years before being offered an opportunity to work with the JPMorgan Private Bank in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, helping high net worth clients. I quickly advanced, being promoted every other year before managing the entire service team for Michigan. While working at JPMorgan, I obtained my Masters of Business Administration from Wayne State University. At JPMorgan I learned new skill sets, gained valuable experience, and earned regional and national recognition for my leadership and contributions to special projects.
In 2016 I transitioned with a Wealth Management team to Merrill Lynch’s Private Banking and Investment Group in Farmington Hills, Michigan, where I was able to build even more meaningful relationships with clients as I delivered high-touch service for their investment and credit needs.
I joined Verde Capital Management as a Financial Advisor in January 2018, and feel so fortunate to be able to apply my prior 12 years of experience to such a hard-working and dedicated company. At Verde Capital Management, I am able to deliver an exemplary personal and comprehensive client service experience, which provides our clients the tools they need to turn their money into life fulfillment.
I live in Clarkston with my husband Scott, our two children, and our golden retriever Luna. As a family we enjoy living an active lifestyle that includes traveling and outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, and water sports. We are also avid theater patrons, concertgoers, and Spartan sports fanatics.
