After earning my Accounting degree and CPA license, I spent a decade as a corporate accountant, managing everything from financial reporting to business analytics. Yet, despite building corporate budgets by day, I realized I didn’t know how to manage my own money at home. Shortly after getting married in Guatemala for a destination wedding, my husband and I found ourselves facing overwhelming debt—and we knew we had to face it head-on.

Paying off that debt changed everything. I started helping family members do the same and realized this was my true calling. I launched a financial coaching business on the side, which ultimately led me to Verde. I joined the team in the Fall of 2023, expanding Verde’s services to include both financial coaching and tax preparation.

Life came full circle at the end of November 2024. After ten years of marriage, welcoming three boys, and realizing something had to change in our own lives, my husband and I moved our family back to where it all started: Guatemala. Today, I help clients redesign their financial lives so they can break free from stress and uncertainty, and focus on what they love—just like we did. When I’m not coaching, our family is busy exploring the beauty of Guatemala, working on our Spanish fluency, and traveling more than we ever thought possible.
