Payton McKay

Payton is a third-year student at Central Michigan University pursuing a degree in Personal Financial Planning, with a strong interest in the intersection of wealth, real estate, and design. While these areas are not traditionally combined, she is passionate about connecting them, from identifying high impact renovations to exploring the long-term value of well designed rental properties.

She is actively involved in both the campus and state chapters of the Financial Planning Association and is a fellow with the FinServ Foundation, where she continues to build her knowledge of financial wellness and client centered planning.

Outside of academics, Payton enjoys traveling, days spent at the beach, shopping estate sales, visiting local small businesses, baking new recipes, and dreaming up ideas for future interiors.

This summer, she is excited to join the team at Verde and looks forward to learning and contributing to the collaborative, innovative environment.
