Get to Know Eric Tomaszewski

My name is Eric and I’m an advisor, but there are thousands that say that same thing. Let’s break it down. I know what works but I also know where there are gaps with planning and investment management within our industry mindset. This is why I represent a new wave of creators and innovators who’ve made a name for themselves by going against the grain and the typical conventional wisdom of what is deemed financial advice.

I began my passion for finance and investing at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. This allowed me to build a strong grasp for constructing portfolios while understanding the impact of psychology as it relates to volatility, emotions, and global markets.

Professionally, I have been fortunate to see the financial services industry from multiple angles. I worked within the discount brokerage world at Scottrade, the full-service brokerage world at Merrill Lynch and currently as an Investment Advisor with Verde Capital Management.

In a world of finance littered with so much complexity, I am happy to have seen the light early in my career. Even more, I am proud to say that I am a fiduciary, especially when so many brokers cringe when the word is spoken. This market has taught me that discipline and following a structured approach to investing/managing money are key attributes for success.

The most fulfilling part of my job is the ability to merge the newest technology and analytics with individual needs. I love providing a service that meets the goals and aspirations of my clients and their families. Life fulfillment is the objective. We know that we’ve done our job right if you are doing the things you love with the people you love.

I am married to my lovely wife, Beth. I’m also a proud daddy to my amazing daughters, Violet and Vivianne. We share a passion for dancing around the house (or anywhere) until we fall down laughing. This is typically any Disney or dance playlist that Alexa is willing to play for us.
