I have had a passion for mathematics ever since I won a weeks-long math contest in first grade. That interest and competitive spirit led me to speed multiplication challenges in fourth grade, MathCounts in middle school, the MMPC and AMC in high school, and the Putnam and the Cambridge Tripos exams as an undergraduate. I was a top student at Notre Dame, receiving offers from graduate programs at Princeton and the University of Chicago.
After graduating summa cum laude, I started at Chicago and earned a Master’s degree in one year. Since then I have studied the applications of mathematics in finance, specifically portfolio optimization. At Verde I am committed to analyzing and expanding our dataset to empower our advisors and clients to make sound decisions using the best evidence available. In my spare time I enjoy hiking and cycling. When the weather doesn’t allow for those, I play strategy games of all kinds.
