Born and raised here in Clarkston as the youngest of nine, I developed an early appreciation for strong financial foundations. I went on to graduate from Grand Valley State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Sociology. Through my educational process, I was able to discover my love for markets, understanding the economy, and the intricate ways social science impacts these spheres more broadly.
My journey with Verde began in the summer of 2020 when I had a fantastic experience through the internship program. Soon after, I held a role as a Paraplanner with an independent firm in Ann Arbor, where I spent more than two years focusing on the ins and outs of financial planning and the diverse financial circumstances that make the advising field fulfilling for myself and my clients alike.
In 2022, I began as an advisor with Verde full-time. Since then, my role has developed to focus on creating simplicity from the sophistication that can make finances daunting. I’ve also worked to obtain my NAPA Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor designation and DACFP Advanced Certificate in Blockchain & Digital Assets. These have allowed me to work within specialized groups at Verde that work to serve an even broader base of clients and retirement plan participants seeking to gain life fulfillment from their hard-earned money.
Outside of my professional experience in Wealth Mangement, I’ve held positions in private equity, data analytics, writing, non-profits, and more. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring metro Detroit, making/listening to music, writing, and spending time with loved ones.
