Born and raised here in Clarkston as the youngest of nine, I developed an early appreciation for strong financial foundations. I went on to graduate from Grand Valley State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Sociology. Through my education, I was able to discover my love for markets, understanding the economy, and the ways social science impacts these spheres more broadly.
My journey with Verde began in the summer of 2020, where I participated in the internship program. Soon after graduating, I worked as a full time Paraplanner with an independent firm in Ann Arbor, where I spent more than two years focusing on the ins and outs of financial planning.
In 2022, I began as a full time advisor with Verde. Since then, my role has developed to focus on creating simplicity from the sophistication that can make finances daunting. In addition to my specific role advising wealth management clients, I also work within specialized groups at Verde, focused on the creation of small-business 401(k) plans, foundations and endowments, and working with individuals to bridge the gap between traditional and decentralized finances.
My other professional experiences include positions in private equity, data analytics, writing, and non-profit work. Outside of advising, I enjoy exploring metro-Detroit with my Schnauzer Bruno, attending the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, making/listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
