I spent two weeks in Europe post grad (Paris, Interlaken, Venice & Rome). Next Stop: Japan!
I love spending time with my family and my brother.
I just became Catholic this past on Easter and spent 1 year in the OCIA process.
I'm a huge sports fan (MSU and Detroit Sports).
I know how to play Piano Man on the harmonica!
Growing up, I never really knew what I wanted to do for a career. What I did know was that I loved problem-solving and had always been good at math. Everything changed during my senior year of high school when I took a personal finance class. For the first time, I found a subject that combined analytical thinking with something that could make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. From that point forward, I knew financial planning was the path I wanted to pursue.
I attended Michigan State University, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Financial Planning and Wealth Management. During my time at MSU, I became heavily involved in the Wealth Management Association, which gave me the opportunity to learn from industry professionals, develop my technical knowledge, and further solidify my passion for helping others navigate their financial lives.
As the oldest daughter of two immigrants, I witnessed firsthand the sacrifices, perseverance, and work ethic my parents demonstrated to create opportunities for my brother and I. Their example shaped my values and continues to motivate me every day. Seeing the challenges many families face when it comes to financial decisions inspired me to pursue a career where I can help people feel confident, organized, and less stressed about their financial future.
I first joined Verde Capital Management as an intern in 2024. From day one, I knew Verde was a special place. The people, values, philosophy, and genuine commitment to clients aligned perfectly with the type of advisor I hoped to become. After returning to assist the team during the summer of 2025 while completing another internship, I was thrilled to join Verde full-time post graduation. Since then, I have earned my Series 65 license and Life & Health Insurance license, and I am currently pursuing my CFP® certification as I continue to build my knowledge and expertise. I am excited to learn from the advisors who inspired me to pursue this profession and to continue growing alongside the Verde team.
What I enjoy most about financial planning is building relationships and helping clients gain peace of mind. Whether it’s helping a family work toward long-term goals or guiding young professionals as they begin their financial journey, I find fulfillment in simplifying complex topics and empowering people to make informed decisions.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through working out, pickleball and volleyball, experimenting with new recipes, and trying different restaurants. You’ll often find me cheering on Detroit sports teams or Michigan State athletics…through the highs and the lows. I currently live in Clarkston with my parents and my 13-year-old Goldendoodle, Bella, and enjoy spending time with my family, including my younger brother, Sherwin, who attends Oakland University.
